Jason Jones

Jason Jones One nite we were skating around UCI and we see this filming crew show up with lights, generators and whole works. Now a bunch of pros were there but that didn't matter...what caught our attention was where they were setting up. I saw them from the bridge and they were heading towards the humanities courtyard. We jam there every weekend, but I thought to myself, "What the hell are they going to film there? All there is..is a three stair?" So we naturally walked in the direction of the action. And then it hit me, "Oh shit the 22 stair". So this was going to be a spectacle. We went down there and they had set all the equipment up to film the 22 stair monster. This yound kid, Jason Jones, started to walk up the stair case and I did a little sign of the cross and started to sweat. Jason Jones rolls up to the rail 10 times and then signals to the crew that he is ready to hit it. Not only is the rail relatively high, there is a two story drop similar to the leap of faith spot that Thomas hit. I was like if this guy get stuck on this rail and goes over he could potentially kill himself. Some dude from Adio came over to us and asked us if we were scared for him. He turn around and told us he couldn't watch. Well he hit 11 times before he pulled it off. He really messed up his hands. There is just some much length on that rail that you don't have time to pull out, you just end up slamming into the ground. I sure hop Jason Jones has been taken in as a pro by now.
