Commandment 5:

Culture, Skate Parks and the Vandal

Jiz Skateboards: Busted

They are going to tell you where to skate!

This is a big thing at jiz. We are street skaters. We skate in the street. But this causes a problem with the local controlling forces. To them it's not skating, it's vandalism. When we play our sport we are actually vandalizing. So I guess we are not skaters, we're vandals.

The funny thing is, skating has become huge. There is lot's of money in it now. At jiz we look at the government and the wealthy as one entity. Therefore, our enemy has some interest in skating. Since skating is now a part of the economy, they will not get rid of skating all together. Their solution to controlling us is - get us off the streets and put us in skate parks. We view skate parks as skating concentration camps.

Anyway, we want to rectify skating from its imprisonment. We want to keep the underground skater aware of where good street spots are, hook them up as best as we can, and keep the skating culture open minded and expansive - and keep it from being overly commercialized and categorized as an "extreme sport" which is simply f*cking lame. So, we need your help, your responses because we are small and under-powered. Thank you - now go vandalize.
